Python Developer with AWS,ETL

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL pipelines using Python and AWS services.
• Work with AWS cloud tools such as Lambda, S3, Glue, Redshift, Step Functions, and EC2.
• Develop reusable and efficient Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and integration.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data flows for performance and scalability.
• Maintain data integrity, implement error handling, and perform data validation.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Document development processes, code, and data workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 36 years of experience as a Python Developer with a focus on data engineering or backend development.
• Strong expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, EMR preferred).
• Solid understanding of ETL design patterns and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with SQL and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• DevOps and CI/CD - Bitbucket / Bamboo / Github Actions / JFrog
• Containerized environments - Docker / EKS Clusters / Deployments / kubectl
• Monitoring - Cloud Watch / Datadog
• Web Technologies - http/html/REST APIs and connectors
• Scripting and Automation - Python/JS/Powershell/Bash/YAML
• IdP and Web authentication/authorization - SAML / OAuth / OIDC / JWT / APIKeys / Azure AD
• Qlik Cloud Administration - Tenants / Data Connections / Gateways / Space Management / Security Rules / Embeding and Mashups
• Qlik App dev knowledge - Dashboards / Visualizations / Stories / Data Modeling / Data Loading / Set Analysis / KPIs / Application AutomationData Sources - RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) / Mongo / AWS
• Data Sources S3, Athena, RDS Etc. (Data Connections and Data Query knowledge)
