Role Overview

We are looking for a Python Developer with 23 years of hands-on experience in backend development. You’ll play a key role in building scalable APIs, integrating backend services, and supporting the core infrastructure of our event-tech platform. This is an onsite role based in Noida—ideal for someone who enjoys clean code, fast iteration cycles, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and web frameworks like Django or FastAPI
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for mobile and web apps
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage and retrieve data efficiently
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and internal microservices
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to align backend functionalities
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team discussions

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of backend development experience using Python
• Experience with at least one Python framework (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with Git and basic DevOps practices
• Understanding of authentication protocols like JWT/OAuth
• Ability to debug, test, and optimize code for performance
  

Good to Have

• Experience with async Python and task queues (e.g., Celery, Redis)
• Basic knowledge of Docker and container-based deployments
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Experience with unit testing (e.g., PyTest) and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and collaboration tools like Jira
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing setups
• Knowledge of basic frontend concepts for better API alignment
