Python Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications with GIS capabilities.
• Work with geospatial libraries (GeoPandas, Shapely, GDAL, PyProj, etc.) for spatial data processing and analysis.
• Integrate GIS functionalities into APIs and web applications.
• Manage spatial databases (PostGIS/Spatialite) and handle large geospatial datasets.
• Perform spatial analysis, generate maps, and produce geospatial visualizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable GIS solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong understanding of Python frameworks (Django/Flask).
• Hands-on experience with GIS concepts and libraries.
• Knowledge of coordinate systems, spatial queries, and mapping tools.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and spatial data handling.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud GIS services (AWS, Mapbox, Google Maps).
• Exposure to machine learning for spatial data.
• Knowledge of front-end GIS tools (Leaflet, OpenLayers).
