About the role:

As a Software Developer, you will oversee the deployment, build, design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient cloud-native services and tools that align with Kapitus' business objectives and automation, integrations in AWS ,

Azure environments to increase efficiency and reliability. Your work will enable Kapitus to assist small business owners in discovering lending options, facilitating payroll during challenging periods, scaling to address market needs, and making significant purchases to grow their operations.

Key job responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain three-tier applications for internal consumption.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Automate security tasks and integrate security into the development lifecycle.
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into key metrics.
• Integrate and improve existing solutions through automation.
• Create tooling for the DevSecOps team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support other teams with self-service and API tooling.
• Review code written in PHP, Java, and NodeJS.
• Write "glue code" to connect disparate systems and applications.
• Work with databases such as MS-SQL, MySQL, and Snowflake.
• Utilize and create APIs to facilitate seamless integration between systems.
• Lead and facilitate the implementation of monitoring for system integrations.
• Integrate, increase scalability, reliability and efficiency of automation processes.

Qualifications:

• Six years or more of experience in an enterprise experience not counting internships in a System Developer, DevOps, or Software Development role.
• Theyll need to review code in PHP, Java, NodeJS, and Python
• They are not expected to have excellent skills in writing Javascript, although it is a plus
• They should have prior experience with any CI/CD pipeline technology, but GitHub Actions is preferred
• Strong proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and Javascript.
• Experience with Vue.js or NodeJS.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Experience with MS-SQL, MySQL, and Snowflake databases.
• Experience using and creating APIs.
• Ability to review code written in PHP, Java, and NodeJS.
• Experience with various AWS services like ECS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, CloudFront, Route 53, Event Bridge
• Proven ability to automate workflows and interconnect existing tools.
• Experience building three-tier applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on ambiguous requirements.
