Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one other programming language. The primary responsibility will be to migrate legacy code from Perl to Python in a structured and efficient manner, while ensuring functionality and performance are preserved or enhanced. Experience with AWS is essential. Key Responsibilities: Analyze existing Perl code and design equivalent solutions in Python. Perform end-to-end migration of codebase, including testing and validation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business logic and technical requirements. Optimize and refactor Python code for performance and maintainability. Document migration processes and provide knowledge transfer as needed. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Python Working knowledge of AWS services Familiarity with Perl or ability to understand legacy Perl code Proficiency in at least one other programming language (e.g., React, Node, Java, C++, etc.) Good understanding of software development best practices and version control systems (e.g., Git)
