Job Summary

Python Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
automation scripts and frameworks
using Python.
Automate
test cases
, data validation, backend workflows, and system processes.
Work with REST/SOAP APIs, write automation for API testing, and validate integrations.
Integrate automated solutions into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
Optimize automation processes for reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot automation issues and ensure high-quality releases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Dev, DevOps) to improve test coverage.
Maintain documentation for automation scripts and frameworks.

Required Skills

Strong programming skills in
Python
(OOP, modules, packages, error handling).
Experience with automation frameworks such as
PyTest, Robot Framework, Behave
or custom frameworks.
Hands-on experience with
Selenium
,
Playwright
, or
API automation libraries
(Requests, httpx).
Good understanding of
CI/CD tools
like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Familiarity with
version control
(Git).
Strong knowledge of
Linux/Unix commands
and shell scripting.
Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Knowledge of containerization tools like
Docker
(added advantage).
