Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Python API Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing APIs using Python, with a particular focus on CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations and containerization using Docker. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs that integrate seamlessly with our systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) with a focus on efficient CRUD operations. Build and manage containerized applications using Docker to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. Collaborate with front-end developers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of APIs with various applications and services. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Implement and enforce API security protocols, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption. Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability of the services. Create and maintain detailed API documentation for internal and external use. Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in developing APIs with Python, using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Strong expertise in CRUD operations and database management (SQL and NoSQL). Extensive experience with Docker for containerization and application deployment. Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code. Familiarity with API management tools and platforms (e.g., Swagger, Postman). Knowledge of API security standards and protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with additional API paradigms, such as GraphQL. Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
