Purchasing Assistant (German Language)

You will be responsible for creating a minimum of 10 Purchase Orders per day. Additionally, you will be required to update management on the details of Purchase Requests using inhouse tools and Advanced Excel. In cases where a Purchase request does not meet basic requirements, you will need to collaborate with Engineers to gather all necessary data. To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications: - Proficiency in German language for technical conversations - Advanced Excel skills - Ability to comprehend and analyze quotations from Suppliers - Capability to convert quotations into Purchase Requests - Understanding of the downstream process of Purchasing, including interactions with Purchasers and obtaining approvals from management - Familiarity with the practical challenges faced by Requestors, Purchasers, and Approvers - In-depth knowledge of Purchase-related terminologies in both English and German languages - Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proactive approach towards communication to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders within specified SLA.
