Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in procurement activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of needed materials and supplies.

Responsibilities

Support the purchasing team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and contracts
Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory management activities
Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs

Requirements

Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
Experience with SAP ERP or similar procurement software
Understanding of supply chain management principles
Familiarity with production planning concepts
Ability to work with e-commerce platforms for purchasing needs
Proficiency in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
Strong skills in inventory management
Previous experience using SAP is a plus
Ability to negotiate and sell ideas effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
