About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the structural analysis and design of steel structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: • Design and analyze structural steel systems for PEB projects using relevant codes and standards (e.g., AISC, IS, MBMA). • Prepare and review design calculations, connection designs, and structural drawings. • Collaborate with drafting and detailing teams to ensure accurate and timely release of fabrication drawings. • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to meet design and delivery requirements. • Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness without compromising structural integrity or safety. • Address and resolve technical issues arising during design, fabrication, or erection stages. • Maintain documentation and design records in line with quality and audit requirements. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred). • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PEB design. • Proficient in structural design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Excel and AutoCAD). • Strong understanding of steel structures, connections, load calculations, and design codes. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Attributes: • Experience in design-build project environments. • Familiarity with fabrication and erection processes. • Knowledge of international codes (ASCE, AISC, BS) is an added advantage.
