As the Manager for Purchase & Vendor Development in the SCM/ Vendor Development department at Gurgaon, your role involves the following key responsibilities: - Identifying and sourcing vendors: You will be responsible for finding new vendors and evaluating their capabilities, quality, and financial stability. - Building relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, and communicate regularly with them. - Ensuring quality: It is your duty to ensure that vendors meet the company's quality and performance standards. - Monitoring performance: Evaluate vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement. - Developing strategies: Design and implement strategies to identify and nurture potential vendors. - Conducting audits: Conduct vendor audits and due diligence processes. - Working with other departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure the company's supply chain is efficient and effective. In addition to the key responsibilities, you will be managing the commodity of Plastic parts, Tooling & E&E Etc., and overseeing tasks such as New Source Evaluation & Development, Technical reviews with the Engineering Team, Cost Due Diligence, Negotiations, Cost Approval from management, On-time development of parts meeting desired quality standards, and ensuring parts clearance from QA & obtaining PPAP lots & approvals. Your skills in plastic parts, manufacturing industry, automotive, vendors, and E&E will be essential for excelling in this role.,
