Purchase Manager

Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and objectives. Ensure the availability of resources and products required by the business at the best possible cost. With respect to the P-to-P Cycle.

Vendor Management:

1. Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions and build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.

2. To develop new vendors by meeting or visiting their facilities, which are more beneficial for our point of view.

3. For our requirement, resolving technical queries from the vendor side by discussion through online meetings or through scheduled meetings at our facility. While keeping the concerned person in the loop.

4. Attending to the vendors who visit our facility for marketing of their product and keeping a note for the same for our future requirements.

Purchasing Activities:

1. Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, from requisition to order placement, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effective purchases.

2. After receiving the quotation from different vendors, to prepare or check the comparison sheet according to favorable terms like CPC, Delivery Time, Freight Charges & Payment Terms, and to define Least One (L1).

3. After receiving material at our facility to take the confirmation with the store & user end in terms of quality, quantity, description & specification with required documents like MIL-TC, COC, etc. of the procured item.

Cost Management:

1. Manage and optimize the procurement budget, monitor spending, and work to reduce costs without compromising quality or operational efficiency.

2. To eliminate extra spending on freight charges, develop new vendors nearby our facility.

Negotiations:

1. Lead negotiations for quoted prices with suppliers and vendors to ensure the company receives the best terms, quality, and pricing.

Inventory Control:

1. Collaborate with the inventory and store team to maintain appropriate stock levels, optimize inventory management, and ensure continuous supply chain operations.

2. Also to keep an eye on consumption of materials and implementation of registers, ERP & Excel sheets to obtain authentic data from stores.
