Purchase Executive

Job Overview:

To support the procurement team by identifying new vendors, coordinating with suppliers, collecting quotations, and following up on negotiations to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing for plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

 Identify and search for new vendors and suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and services.

 Connect and communicate with vendors through calls, emails, and meetings for product inquiries and quotations.

 Collect, compare, and maintain quotations from multiple suppliers.

 Follow up with vendors for price negotiation, delivery schedules, payment terms, and approvals.

 Assist seniors in vendor development and supplier onboarding activities.

 Coordinate with Production, QC, Stores, and Accounts teams for purchase-related requirements.

 Prepare and maintain Purchase Requisitions (PRs), quotation records, and vendor databases.

 Track order status and follow up for timely material delivery.

 Support cost comparison and procurement planning activities.

 Maintain proper documentation in Tally / Excel systems.

 Build good relationships with suppliers and ensure regular communication.

Skills Required

 Good communication and negotiation skills

 Strong follow-up and coordination ability

 Vendor handling and relationship management skills

 Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer operations

 Confidence in calling and interacting with suppliers

 Willingness to learn procurement processes

Educational Qualification

 Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or related field
