Job Description Purchase Executive

Job Summary We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase documentation, and timely availability of materials required for operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle procurement requirements for vessels, workshops, repairs, stock, and other operational activities.
• Source vendors, obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercially suitable terms.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement records in Zoho.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal departments for timely material delivery.
• Verify received materials, resolve discrepancies, and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
• Verify purchase invoices against POs and GRNs, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Monitor stock requirements and coordinate timely procurement to avoid operational delays.
• Maintain updated vendor records, invoices, and purchasing data.
• Assist with other purchase-related, documentation, logistics, and operational responsibilities as assigned. Requirements
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management.
• Good negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Zoho or similar ERP software.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and meet deadlines.
