Job Title : Purchase Executive – Hospital Location: Sunrise Hospital Pala - Ponkunnam Rd, Kaduvamuzhi, Erattupetta, Kerala 686121 Department : Purchase Employment Type: Full-Time Number of vacancies : 2 Qualification & Requirements : Minimum 2 years in hospital purchasing/procurement Bachelor’s degree Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital procurement. Knowledge of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare supplies. Familiarity with inventory management and ERP software. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors for medical and non-medical products. Process purchase orders, requisitions, and maintain accurate procurement records. Ensure timely procurement of hospital supplies while adhering to budget and quality standards. Coordinate with various departments (pharmacy, OT, labs, etc.) to assess material requirements. Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery timelines with vendors. Maintain inventory levels and monitor stock to avoid shortages or overstocking. Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and relevant regulations. Handle return/replacement of damaged or incorrect items. Prepare and present purchase reports and cost analysis.
