Job Description

Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end procurement for
CAPEX (machinery, equipment, infrastructure, IT assets, etc.)
and
OPEX (consumables, services, utilities, AMC, etc.)
.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective and quality purchases.
Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements while ensuring adherence to company policies.
Coordinate with user departments to understand technical specifications and requirements.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, conduct vendor evaluations, and maintain supplier database.
Monitor stock levels, track deliveries, and follow up on pending orders to ensure timely supply.
Support budget preparation, cost control initiatives, and MIS reporting on procurement activities.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, audit requirements, and organizational standards.
Participate in annual/quarterly procurement planning and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Business/Engineering (MBA preferred).
36 years of relevant experience in
procurement/purchase (CAPEX & OPEX)
.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
