As a Purchase Executive in an industrial construction company, the primary responsibility is to manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential for construction projects. This involves: Vendor Management: Identifying, evaluating, and establishing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Material Procurement: Sourcing construction materials such as cement, steel, machinery, and other essentials. Cost Negotiation: Negotiating prices and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement. Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely delivery to avoid project delays. Documentation: Maintaining records of purchase orders, contracts, and delivery receipts. Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies and legal regulations. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields. Experience: 1–3 years in procurement within the construction or industrial sector. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), strong negotiation abilities, and excellent communication skills.
