Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

* Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.

* Support the maintenance of the approved vendor database and performance records.

* Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, product information, and service details.

Purchasing and Order Processing:

* Prepare and process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders (POs) in a timely and accurate manner.

* Track orders and confirm delivery schedules, resolving basic issues related to delays or discrepancies.

* Ensure all procurement transactions are properly documented and recorded for auditing.

Contract and Negotiation Support:

* Assist the manager in routine negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors.

* Support the preparation of tender documents and simple contract renewals.

Cost and Market Analysis:

* Conduct basic market research to understand price trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

* Analyze purchasing data to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Internal Collaboration:

* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations) to understand their material and service requirements and ensure timely supply.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

* Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in a Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain role.

* Basic understanding of procurement principles and vendor management.

* Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

* Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

* Effective negotiation and communication skills.

Shit Hours and Days:

5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST

Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturday.
