Pulmonologist

A Pulmonologist is a medical specialist responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases related to the lungs and respiratory system. They evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, perform diagnostic tests, and provide both outpatient and inpatient care for respiratory disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, and other respiratory diseases.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests like spirometry, bronchoscopy, and chest imaging.
• Develop individualized treatment and management plans for patients.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, oxygen therapy, or other interventions.
• Provide critical care support for patients with severe respiratory issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, thoracic surgeons, and oncologists.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
• Stay updated with advancements in pulmonology and critical care medicine.

Qualifications & Skills:

• MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine or Respiratory Medicine.
• Valid medical license/registration.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
• Experience in ICU/critical care (preferred for some roles).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
