Description

• We are seeking a skilled and compassionate 

  Pulmonologist

   to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with diseases and disorders of the lungs and respiratory system. The ideal candidate should have expertise in a wide range of pulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, and sleep-related breathing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and evaluate patients with respiratory illnesses or conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as chest X-rays, CT scans, pulmonary function tests, and sleep studies.
• Perform and supervise procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and lung biopsies.
• Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with other specialists and the patient.
• Provide consultation to inpatients and outpatients.
• Monitor and adjust therapies for chronic conditions like asthma and COPD.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and rounds.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current with advancements in pulmonary medicine through CME and professional development.

Qualifications:

• DM degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine (and Critical Care, if applicable).
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in [state/country].
• Fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
