Public Relations Officer (PRO)

• Assist in drafting press releases, media notes, speeches, Q&A documents, and other PR materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, content, digital) to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
• Maintain and update media contact lists and databases
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media houses.
• Monitor media coverage, prepare daily/weekly reports, and evaluate PR activities using analytics tools.
• Support in organizing press events, interviews, and promotional campaigns.
• Actively pitch company stories, events, and initiatives to media outlets.
• Maintain the companysocial media presence by coordinating posts and updates.
• Manage basic inquiries from media, partners, and the public.
• Contribute to PR campaigns that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Assist in managing crisis communication under the guidance of senior management.
• Ensure brand consistency across media interactions, events, and communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in mass communication, journalism, public relations, media studies, or a related field.
• 02 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills (English & Tamil).
• Familiarity with media relations, social media, and PR tools.
• Creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
