Job Description

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing the school’s public image, strengthening relationships with parents and the community, supporting admissions, and ensuring effective communication between the school and external stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Parent & Public Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and walk-in enquiries.
  • Handle parent queries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing parents to support retention and goodwill.
  • Coordinate parent meetings, orientation programs, and induction sessions.

2. Admissions Support

  • Manage admission enquiries, counselling, and follow-ups.
  • Explain school curriculum (CBSE / IIT-JEE / NEET / Holistic Programs) clearly to parents.
  • Coordinate with the admissions team to achieve admission targets.
  • Maintain accurate admission enquiry records and reports.

3. Communication & Branding

  • Represent the school at education fairs, seminars, and public events.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing & Branding team for promotions, campaigns, and outreach activities.
  • Assist in drafting notices, circulars, parent communication messages, and announcements.
  • Support social media and website content coordination (as required).

4. External Coordination

  • Liaise with media, vendors, local authorities, and partner institutions when needed.
  • Coordinate with transport, academics, and administration teams for smooth information flow.
  • Handle official visitors and VIP guests professionally.

5. Event & Outreach Management

  • Support organization of school events, open houses, results announcements, and celebrations.
  • Coordinate community engagement programs, school campaigns, and outreach drives.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain enquiry logs, follow-up records, visitor registers, and daily reports.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on admissions, enquiries, and outreach activities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills (English, Telugu/Hindi preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
  • Presentable, confident, and professional attitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Google Sheets, CRM tools).
  • Ability to handle pressure during admission seasons.

Qualifications

  • Any Graduate (MBA / Mass Communication / Marketing preferred).

Experience

  • 1–5 years experience as PRO / Admissions Counselor / Front Office / Customer Relations (School or Educational Institution preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
