Job Description

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for managing the school’s public image, communication strategies, admissions outreach, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure the school maintains a positive reputation among parents, students, staff, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations & Communication
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the school’s vision, mission, and achievements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for media, parents, and external agencies.
  • Prepare press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
  • Manage official social media handles and online presence.
  • Admissions & Outreach
  • Support the admissions team in handling inquiries, campus tours, and parent meetings.
  • Assist in organizing promotional campaigns and events to attract prospective students.
  • Maintain a database of leads and follow up to ensure conversion.
  • Event Coordination
  • Plan and execute school events such as annual days, exhibitions, alumni meets, and community outreach programs.
  • Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and media for event coverage.
  • Parent & Community Relations
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and stakeholders.
  • Handle parent grievances tactfully and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Collect feedback to improve school services and communication.
  • Branding & Marketing
  • Ensure uniformity of branding across all school communication materials.
  • Create marketing collaterals such as brochures, videos, and posters.
  • Monitor local competitor schools and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain records of all communication, advertisements, and PR activities.
  • Prepare monthly reports on outreach and media engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in PR, marketing, or customer relations (preferably in the education sector).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media management.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle deadlines under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
