Job Description – Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Reporting To: Dr. Lt. Col. (Retd.) Ravi Kumar Jain, MD (Medicine)
Location: Heart and Diabetes Care Center, Agra

Position Overview

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive public image of Dr. Lt. Col. (Retd.) Ravi Kumar Jain and the Heart and Diabetes Care Center. The role involves managing patient communication, coordinating with healthcare partners, organizing medical camps, and creating awareness campaigns to enhance community outreach and promote the specialized heart and diabetes services offered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient & Community Relations

• Act as the first point of contact between patients, families, and the clinic.
• Ensure smooth handling of patient inquiries, appointments, and feedback.
• Organize patient awareness programs, workshops, and health camps.
• Maintain strong community relations to build trust and loyalty.

2. Branding & Reputation Management

• Promote Dr. Ravi Jain’s expertise as a Senior Consultant Physician, Cardiologist, and Diabetes Specialist.
• Highlight his background as Lt. Col. (Retd.) Indian Army & Ex-Associate Professor for credibility.
• Develop patient education materials, brochures, and press releases.
• Manage testimonials and patient success stories.

3. Marketing & Outreach

• Plan and execute marketing strategies for both online and offline platforms.
• Maintain clinic’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups).
• Coordinate with local hospitals, banks, corporates, and community organizations for tie-ups and health checkup camps.
• Publicize clinic timings, services, and special discount offers.

4. Event & Camp Management

• Organize monthly and special medical camps (Diabetes, Heart Health, Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome, etc.).
• Liaise with corporates, schools, and associations for collaborative health events.
• Ensure smooth logistics, patient registration, and reporting for health camps.

5. Administrative Support

• Assist in maintaining records of outreach programs and patient satisfaction surveys.
• Support the clinic team in coordinating appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
• Prepare periodic reports on PR and marketing performance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (preferred).
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Prior experience in healthcare PR/marketing is desirable.
• Ability to manage events, campaigns, and digital platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with patient-centric approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
