Public Relations Assistant

As a Public Relations Assistant at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the PR team with communication efforts, media relations, and event coordination. This entry-level position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and gain hands-on experience in the field of public relations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage editorial and event calendars, media lists, and contact databases. - Assist in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for PR campaigns and projects. - Support the organization and execution of PR events, press conferences, and media outreach activities. - Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, social media content, and other communications. - Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics, compiling reports for the team. - Foster relationships with media, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. - Conduct research to identify new publicity opportunities and industry trends. - Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and managing correspondence. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and within a team. - Familiarity with social media platforms and basic video or content editing is a plus. - Creative mindset with a passion for media and public relations.
