Job Title: PU Foam Lab Assistant (Foam Industry Experience Required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PU Foam Lab Assistant with prior hands-on experience in the foam industry. The ideal candidate will support R&D and quality control activities by preparing foam formulations, conducting standardized testing, and ensuring lab operations run smoothly. Candidates with a background in flexible, rigid, or molded PU foam production are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in PU foam development, including formulation, mixing, and curing
Perform physical and chemical property tests (e.g., density, hardness, tensile, compression set)Operate lab equipment: viscometers, foaming machines, ovens, mixing tanksRecord test data and observations accurately in lab recordsMaintain cleanliness and safety in the lab as per chemical safety protocolsSupport production teams with technical foam-related insightsConduct root cause analysis for foam quality issues under supervisionMonitor and manage raw materials, chemicals, and lab supplies inventory

Requirements:

Diploma / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering
Minimum 1–3 years’ experience working in a PU foam manufacturing labPractical knowledge of foam types (flexible, rigid, HR, memory foam)Familiar with quality systems, documentation, and test proceduresGood communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamsStrict adherence to lab safety and hygiene standards

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ISO/ASTM testing standards
Knowledge of TDI/MDI-based foam chemistryFamiliarity with production trials and pilot-scale equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
