Job Brief: ICCHA is inviting psychology interns to support caregiver mental health initiatives, organisational outreach, impact documentation, and content development. This internship offers hands-on experience in therapy support, social impact communication.
Roles and Responsibilities:
A. Support Group & Caregiver Support
  • Assist in planning and coordinating caregiver support groups
  • Manage reminders, attendance tracking, and documentation
  • Shadow counselling sessions/workshops (as permitted)
  • Support content creation for group activities and psychoeducation
B. Content & Communication
  • Draft awareness posts, blogs, newsletters, and reports
  • Support social media strategy — help schedule posts, run campaigns & storytelling content
  • Create simple designs using Canva
  • Prepare ethical, anonymised case stories and impact narratives
C. Outreach, Partnerships & CSR Engagement
  • Identify and map NGOs, corporates, disability organisations & CSR partners
  • Support partnership-building efforts through emails, proposals, pitch decks and presentations
  • Assist in designing and coordinating training programs for employees, caregivers & professionals
  • Help develop impact decks, documentation reports, and simple proposals
  • Participate in meetings and shadow external collaboration discussions
  • Assist in organising workshops, outreach events & awareness initiatives
D. Research, Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Track project outcomes, session attendance, and basic impact metrics
  • Support data organisation for reports and evaluations
  • Maintain logs of outreach and partnership activities
E. Administrative & Professional Development
  • Maintain logbook and weekly progress sheets
  • Attend weekly supervision sessions
  • Follow confidentiality, ethical guidelines & safeguarding protocols

Qualifications and Required Skills:
  • Pursuing M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology (Counselling/Clinical/Organisational)
  • Strong communication & writing skills
  • Fluent in Hindi and English
  • Comfort with digital tools (Google Drive, Canva, social media basics)
  • Interest in caregiver support, disability inclusion & mental health advocacy
  • Self-driven, organised, empathetic
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and receive feedback

Required experience: 0.5 to 2 years’ experience in the field of mental health
