Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews for patients.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and stress management.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other allied health teams for multidisciplinary care planning.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of patient progress and clinical interventions.
• Provide psychological support in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Design and facilitate psychoeducational workshops, support groups, and wellness programs.
• Offer crisis intervention support when needed.
• Participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and departmental reviews.
• Contribute to awareness campaigns and mental health outreach initiatives organized by the hospital.
• Stay updated with best practices and emerging research in psychology.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (M.Phil./M.Sc./MA) in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology from a recognized university.
• Valid RCI registration (if Clinical Psychologist).
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency in psychological testing and therapeutic techniques.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple cases effectively.

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience working in a multi-specialty or tertiary care hospital setting.
• Knowledge of regional languages, especially Hindi, is an added advantage.
• Comfortable working with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
