Psychologist

To provide psychological support and assessments for patients, families, and staff, promoting mental well-being and contributing to holistic healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for referred patients (OPD/IPD).
• Provide therapy/counseling to patients dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, etc.
• Support patients with behavioral or emotional difficulties, including pain and grief counseling.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and social workers for multidisciplinary care planning.
• Guide family members and caregivers on how to support patients.
• Document patient evaluations and maintain confidentiality.
• Conduct short awareness/training sessions for staff on stress management or workplace mental health.
• Refer patients to external specialists or resources when advanced psychiatric care is required.
