Proposal Engineer-Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants

Role Overview: As a Proposal Engineer at Fermenta Biotech Limited, you will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for various water and wastewater treatment systems. Your role will involve cost estimation, bid documentation, and conceptualization of process flow designs. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions are provided. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare technical and commercial proposals for DM, RO, Mixed Bed, BEE, ATFD, ZLD, STP, and ETP systems. - Conduct cost estimation and bid documentation tailored to industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. - Review and prepare PFDs, P&IDs, HFDs, water mass balance, equipment layouts, and civil GA drawings. - Conceptualize process flow designs based on raw water and wastewater characteristics. - Participate in technical discussions with clients and consultants, incorporating feedback into proposals. - Conduct site surveys to collect technical data for accurate proposal preparation. - Select equipment and instruments according to process requirements. - Coordinate with procurement, planning, and execution teams to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions. - Support project execution and O&M sites as needed. - Travel extensively with the marketing team for customer interactions and proposal presentations. - Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business. - Stay updated on market trends, technologies, and competitor offerings in industrial water treatment solutions. Qualification Required: - B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering. - 6+ years of professional experience in proposal making and cost estimation for industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. - Proven expertise in preparing proposals for DM, RO, Mixed Bed, BEE, ATFD, ZLD, and ETP solutions for Power, Steel, and Mining industries. - Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and project management tools. - Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail. - Team player with strong cross-functional coordination abilities. - Willingness to travel extensively across India.,
