Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing techno-commercial proposals for process equipment such as reactors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and industrial mixers. Involves reviewing client specifications, equipment selection, costing, and tender documentation while ensuring compliance with industry codes (ASME, TEMA, API).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals for reactors, pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, distillation columns, and industrial mixers.
• Review client specifications and align them with internal design standards.
• Select agitators and apply basic agitator design principles.
• Analyze chemical process inputs for accurate equipment selection and proposal preparation.
• Interpret and understand PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) for equipment interconnection.
• Prepare costing and estimation for fabricated equipment.
• Create complete pricing sheets and tender documents in coordination with estimation and design teams.
• Apply working knowledge of ASME, TEMA, API codes, and relevant industry standards.
• Read and interpret equipment data sheets and client specifications.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to gather technical and commercial inputs.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and attend client meetings when required.
• Follow up with clients until order finalization and ensure smooth handover to the execution team.
• Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Use MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) effectively; familiarity with proposal tools/software is an advantage.
• Work independently under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in capital equipment manufacturing or process equipment industry is highly desirable.
