Job Description

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for executing the complete project life cycle, starting from project input analysis, design, detailed engineering, internal testing & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), followed by site commissioning as per the requirement. Your tasks will involve the design and engineering of Boiler, BOP, Packages (e.g. Ash Handling, FGD, Water Treatment, etc.), HRSG, Water treatment plants, etc. You will need to understand SAMA, Narratives, and control schemes, perform verification and functional testing of control logics, develop HMI/Graphics from conceptual sketches or P&IDs, conduct process simulation & testing, collaborate with team members in different geographical locations, travel to sites up to 40% of the time in a year, communicate with other devices using protocols like Modbus, IEC61850, DNP3, or Profibus, and follow all safety & quality procedures as per company standards. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent field). - Five (5) to ten (10) years of proven experience in DCS/PLC programming / Engineering / commissioning. - Minimum three (3) years hands-on experience in DCS/PLC programming / engineering. - Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written. - Ability to write reports & business communication. - Ability to optimally present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients, and customers. - Ability to interact with vendors & sub-contractors. - Analytical skills.
