In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
You will be responsible for executing the complete Project Life Cycle i.e. starting from project input analysis, design, detailed engineering, internal testing & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) followed by site commissioning as per requirement. This role involves design and engineering of Boiler, BOP, Packages (e.g. Ash Handling, FGD, Water Treatment, etc.), HRSG, Water treatment plants etc. The following basic tasks are expected in this role-
-  Understand SAMA, Narratives, and control schemes. 
 -  Verification and functional testing of control logics, i.e. both Open & Closed loop controls 
 -  HMI/Graphic development from conceptual sketches or P&ID's 
 -  Process simulation & testing. 
 -  Close collaboration and communication with team members located at different geographical locations. 
 -  Site travel up to 40% time in a year, according to customer requirements for site surveys, commissioning etc. 
 -  Third party communication with other devices using commonly used protocols like Modbus, IEC61850, DNP3 or Profibus etc. 
 -  Follow all safety & quality procedures as per company standards. 
 
Who You Are:
Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in automation sector. Minimum three (3) years hands on experience in DCS/PLC programming. Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. Ability to write reports & business communications. Ability to interact with vendors & sub-contractors. Ability to trouble-shoot DCS/PLC control system. Basic Third-party communication & networking skills. Aware about the basic industrial automation norms and practices.
For This Role, You Will Need:
-  Degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent field) 
 -  Five (5) to ten (10) years of proven experience in DCS/PLC programming / Engineering / commissioning. Minimum three (3) years hands on experience in DCS/PLC programming / engineering. 
 -  Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written 
 -  Ability to write reports & business communication. 
 -  Ability to optimally present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients, and customers. 
 -  Ability to interact with vendors & sub-contractors. 
 -  Analytical skills 
 
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
At least one of the below skill-
-  Thermal / CCPP Power Plant working experience. 
 -  Emerson Ovation DCS prior experience will be an added advantage. 
 -  3rd party communication using Modbus, Profibus etc. 
 -  Basic AutoCAD skills
