Project Technical Support-III (Social Worker)

As a Project Technical Support-III (Social Worker) for the ICMR funded project on Community based model for Early detection - Speech and language training of hearing impaired children, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the mixed methods Implementation study. Commencing from 1st July 2025 in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project with your social work expertise. Key Qualifications and Details: - Ideal candidates should possess a BSW / MSW degree with a preference for specialisation in Community Development. - The maximum age limit for this position is 35 years. - The offered salary is Rs 36,400/- Consolidated per month, which includes HRA and all statutory deductions. - Proficiency in English and Kannada is required for effective communication. - Freshers are welcome to apply for this position. Roles and Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth interviews and focus group discussions to gather relevant insights. - Translate and prepare transcripts from the local language to English for documentation purposes. - Organize and conduct group activities as part of the project. - Raise awareness about ear care among anganwadi workers to support the project objectives.
