Project specialist

As a Project Operations Coordinator at ABB, you will be responsible for managing the Order to Cash (O2C) cycle and supporting the operations team in the execution of standard sales orders and projects. Your main accountabilities will include ensuring compliance with internal directives and cybersecurity regulations, analyzing project performance, monitoring and releasing invoicing requests, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders. You will also be involved in project planning, HSE risk mitigation, documentation control, and quality checks. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with internal directives, cybersecurity regulations, and contractual requirements - Analyze planned versus actual project performance - Monitor and release invoicing requests based on instructions from the Technical Project Manager - Communicate project deadlines to the team and stakeholders - Demonstrate understanding of HSE terms, application, and risk mitigation - Define and apply project planning techniques, including updating processes - Take ownership of maintenance and adherence to billing plan milestones - Coordinate with project members for planning and control requirements - Record lessons learnt, conduct quality checks, and implement improvement measures - Control documentation accuracy and consistency based on agreed procedures - Interact effectively with Technical Team for documentation requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronic, or electro-mechanic Engineering - Strong knowledge of SAP, Logistics, and Microsoft Office - Customer-focused with attention to detail and flexibility - 2-3+ years of experience in project execution and order handling - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Proficiency in English/Arabic; French language skills are a plus At ABB, we value diversity and invite individuals from different backgrounds to join us in making an impact with our solutions.
