Job Description

The Project Planning & Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments, establishing project timelines, and ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet project goals

Roles & Responsibilities

The Project Planning & Control Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure completion within deadlines.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate project meetings and document key decisions and action items.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices in project management
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Manage inventory and resources effectively to optimize project efficiency.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and milestones.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to meet project-related sales targets and customer satisfaction goals

*Qualifications and Experience

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical). A minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in project planning, budgeting, governance, preferably in data center or large infrastructure industries. is essential. Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or RICS and MS-Projects or Primavera (project planning softwares) are highly desirable.
