FINANCE Technology (FINTECH) provides innovative solutions for regulatory and financial reporting, general ledger, profit & loss calculations, securities bookkeeping, budgeting & forecasting, and tax filing. What Youll Do In The Role

The IT Project Manager role focuses on cross team projects spanning various technology groups such as development, infrastructure technology, technology security risk, and technology governance teams.Driving analysis and feasibility studies for potential projectsInteraction with the business, technology, operations and finance to conduct Business Analysis and documentation of current and future state solutions.Work closely with the business to oversee and track the portfolio of technology initiatives being delivered.Assist in the coordination and preparation for key governance forums such as working groups and steering committees.Assist in the development of implementation strategies and project plans; liaise with Project Managers to update their project schedules and provide assistance in the planning and execution of their project portfolios, milestone identification and key deliverables.Develop and implement strategy for the identification, tracking and subsequent monitoring of project related items including risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and associated costs and resources (RAID Log)Interaction with other technology silos, operations, finance and risk teams to coordinate testing, and deployment.Work with global / regional counterparts to provide synergies between regions and ensure the compliance with global best practices.

What Youll Bring To The Role

Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum 6+ years professional experience, preferably at a major management consulting firm or financial institution, Technical background/understanding preferableKnowledge of the financial services industry, preferably within an investment bank with sales and trading, finance, operations, technology or internal audit backgroundOverall experience in hands-on project management, specifically in supporting financial services technology-related projectsStrong communication skills the candidate must demonstrate the ability to liaise confidently with both internal and external business stakeholders, as well as possessing excellent customer service expertiseProven ability to work proactively, creatively & analytically in a fast-paced, extremely complex environmentAbility to take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work within a global team, and manage time and tasks effectively & independentlyDomain knowledge and/or project experience desirable in two or more of the following:Front-back trade lifecycle fundamentals with key focus on Front-office tradingFixed Income or Equity product knowledgeKey principles of software development lifecycle (SDLC) (Agile & waterfall / hybrid project methodologies)
