Project Manager - IaaS/PaaS

As an experienced Project Manager in the IT, Telecommunications, or System Integration sectors, you will be responsible for various key activities: - **RFP & Bid Management Expertise**: - Demonstrate a strong grasp of RFP analysis and meticulously manage bid submission workflows. - Excel in solution storytelling to articulate complex technical and business value propositions during the presales and proposal stages. - **Comprehensive Project Lifecycle Management**: - Drive projects through all phases, from initiation to closure. - Excellent understanding and practical application of project lifecycle documentation such as Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Statements of Work (SoW), Risk Logs, Test Plans, Deployment Guides, etc. - **Technical Domain Oversight**: - Leverage a strong understanding of various IT technical domains to effectively manage technical teams. - Make informed decisions regarding Linux/Unix-based IT systems, advanced Cloud concepts, and VoIP/Telecom basics. - **Cross-Functional Technical Understanding**: - Possess a solid grasp of fundamental architectural principles including network architecture, virtualization technologies, containerization, database concepts, and CI/CD pipelines. - **Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement**: - Exhibit exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and manage expectations across various audiences. - Tailor your approach for technical teams, senior leadership, external entities, and client project teams. - **Complex Multitasking & Prioritization**: - Expertly multitask across multiple clients, demanding deadlines, and technical domains. - Ensure all projects remain on track, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. - **Risk & Issue Management**: - Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, particularly those with technical implications. - Ensure timely escalation and resolution of identified risks and issues. - **Quality Assurance & Governance**: - Champion project quality, adherence to best practices, and governance frameworks throughout the project lifecycle. - **Team Leadership & Collaboration**: - Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. - Guide technical teams and external partners toward common goals. **Required Skills & Qualifications**: - 5-8 years of proven working experience as a Project Manager in relevant sectors. - Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with project lifecycle documentation. - Solid technical background with hands-on experience in various IT systems. - In-depth understanding of Cloud concepts, VoIP/Telecom basics, network architecture, and security principles. - Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly preferred.
