Job Description

Project Manager Location: Bellary, Karnataka (with responsibility for multiple O&M sites across Karnataka) Industry: Steel Industry / Industrial Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Experience: Minimum 10+ Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) Key Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of experience in the steel industry, specifically in Maintenance or O&M operations. • Strong background in maintenance management mechanical, electrical, or plant utilities. • Proven ability to manage large teams (500+ manpower) across multiple locations. • Experience in managing multiple O&M sites across Karnataka is highly desirable. • Capable of multi-site coordination, planning, and execution under tight deadlines. • Strong understanding of maintenance protocols, asset management, and operational efficiency. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to prepare and manage budgets, cost control measures, and resource planning. • Knowledge of safety regulations and statutory compliances. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage maintenance and project activities at Bellary plant and other O&M sites in Karnataka. • Oversee manpower deployment, vendor coordination, and maintenance schedules. • Ensure all project and maintenance work is executed with strict adherence to safety and quality standards. • Develop and implement strategies for preventive and predictive maintenance. • Monitor KPIs for each site, ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. • Report regularly to senior management on site performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Location: Bellary, Karnataka (with responsibility for multiple O&M sites across Karnataka)
