Job Title: Full-Time Accountant Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Company: Aruna Warehousing Salary: Rs. 3,00,000 per annum About Us: Aruna Warehousing is a growing player in the industrial and logistics real estate sector, with operations in key locations across Tamil Nadu. As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations with integrity and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: A. Core Accounting & Financial Management Maintain books of accounts for Aruna Warehousing and its subsidiary entities in Tally. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. Reconcile bank accounts, vendor and customer ledgers periodically. Ensure documentation and filing of vouchers, invoices, payment proofs, and all transaction records for audit readiness. B. Taxation & Compliance Prepare and file monthly GST returns; ensure timely payment of GST liabilities. Manage all TDS-related tasks, including deduction, payment, and quarterly filings (Form 26Q, etc.). Maintain compliance calendar for statutory filings and ensure zero delays or penalties. C. MIS Reporting & Financial Analysis Prepare and share monthly MIS reports including Cash flow statements, Fund flow reports, Income and expenditure statements, Variance analysis vs. budget. Work closely with the senior management to provide ad hoc financial insights and reporting when required. D. Vendor & Customer Coordination Notify vendors and clients via professional emails regarding invoice payments, receipts, or any financial discrepancies. Maintain a clear aging report and follow up for receivables or due payments where needed. E. Payroll & Statutory Payments Collaborate with HR to process payroll accurately and on time. Ensure payment of salaries and compliance-related obligations (PF, ESI, PT, etc.). Make timely payments to electricity board (EB), local authorities, and government departments. F. Additional Responsibilities Assist with annual audits, internal and statutory, and coordinate with auditors. Support the team during budgeting exercises and financial planning. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial dealings. Key Requirements: Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in real estate, warehousing, or manufacturing Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic financial tools Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication in English Ability to work independently and handle multiple accounts Knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS) is mandatory Prior experience with statutory audits is an advantage Show more Show less
