Project Intern

Role Overview: As a Project Intern at Amity Institute of Applied Sciences (AIAS), Department of Chemistry, you will be part of the project "Scaling solar hydrogen production with immobilized photocatalysts" sponsored by SERB-Ramanujan Fellowship Award. The duration of the position is a 6-month internship role, with the possibility of extension up to 4 years based on your performance, accompanied by a monthly compensation of Rs. 8,000/-. Key Responsibilities: - Work on the synthesis of catalyst/energy materials, specifically photocatalysts/electrocatalysts - Engage in chemical engineering tasks related to the project - Contribute to the design and instrumentation aspects of the research Qualifications Required: - Must hold an M.Sc. degree in Chemical Sciences, Physics, and/or Chemistry - Alternatively, an M.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering is acceptable - Candidates with a Masters degree in Design and Instrumentation are also eligible - Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in catalyst/energy material synthesis, particularly in the field of photocatalysts/electrocatalysts, chemical engineering, and design and instrumentation.
