Our people enable continuous progress Their commitment, collective expertise, and unique capabilities are the engine room behind SBM Offshores True Blue Transition shaping the future of energy, and beyond, About Us: SBM Offshore is the worlds deepwater ocean-infrastructure expert Our work is already resulting in cleaner, more efficient energy production True Blue Transition is our promise to enable that into the future while at the same time using our expertise to support new and existing markets in the blue economy It starts with Advancing our Core: continuing to advance the decarbonization of traditional energy production While Pioneering More: helping to enable the energy transition and using our unique capabilities in ocean infrastructure to support more industries to grow sustainably Sharing our experience for a better blue tomorrow, As Project Information Engineer (Information Management) you will be assigned to large and complex projects to manage the entire asset information and data flow during all different EPC stages in the project You will be reporting to the Project Information Manager on the project, Job Description: Liaise with Project Information Manager on reviewing the clients information management requirements for the project and prepare information & data specifications to be concluded in the projects setup, Coordinate with information management system specialist to ensure that the Project Database and Tools are properly set up as per project requirement, Coordinate & advise Engineering, Supply Chain /Vendors & Suppliers, Completion and Quality teams to ensure data requirements are understood and complied with, Interpret reports for ingested data consistency, compliance & completeness On a regular basis; monitor and report data progress status, Liaise with other project functions and the client to ensure quality of the delivered data, Manage the hand-over to the client of competed project information & documentation in accordance with the agreed procedures, At project completion stage, assist in preparation of close-out report on information management activities including initiating improvement on SBM standards & methodology Job Requirements: A bachelors degree in either Engineering, Information Management or Data Management, Some understanding of data/information/document management systems/tools, Knowledge & work experience in system engineering related scope in large Oil & Gas EPC projects; will be an added advantage, Exposure and or work experience in handling system engineering design applications & tools; will be another further added advantage Experience: 3 to 5 years Behaviors &inter-personal skills Key points: You are good in decision making, and you hold yourselves and others accountable to meet commitments You are a good communicator & collaborator who can clearly express expectations and work with other stakeholders You are problem solving/solution focused and result driven Ability to handle large volume of dynamic data flow from various sources / formats on tight project schedules You have attention to details and high interest in structured data GENERAL INFORMATION SBM Offshore NV is a listed holding company that is headquartered in Amsterdam It holds direct and indirect interests in other companies that collectively with SBM Offshore NV form the SBM Offshore Group (?the Company?)
