Project Engineering Entry Level Professional

You will be a part of the GIS Primary Engineering team, supporting project engineers/project lead engineers in developing project-specific engineering documents and drawings for Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) of transmission and sub-transmission systems. As an individual contributor, you will deliver tasks based on given inputs, collaborating with colleagues when necessary to exhibit good collaborative skills. Interaction with departments like Secondary Engineering, Steel Structure Engineering, Project Management, and Production units may be required. Your responsibilities will include preparation of drawings and documents for customer submission and production for Gas Insulated Switchgears above 66kV. This entails creating Gas SLD, GIS Layout, cable tray layout, earthing layout, cabling overview, assembly overview, system resistance, thermal loss, gas volume, earthing mat, cable calculations, rating plates, labels, Dering of materials in SAP system, self-review, peer review of documents, coordination with team members and project lead engineer, maintaining and updating project documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, procedures, and guidelines, and embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. To excel in this role, you should have a good knowledge of CAD tools (experience in 3D design tools like Creo preferred), familiarity with codes and standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI, basic knowledge of HV substations, be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, and possess 3-6 years of experience with a B.E/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
