Job Description

Project Engineer /Sr. Project Engineer - CAE - (FEA with ANSYS Skills) Lead and support FEA projects using ANSYS / ANSYS-Workbench as per customer requirements. Interface with customer and take care of regular project communications with customer. Obtain all required inputs for assessing the components and sub-systems for stress, deformation, vibration, durability and thermal performance. Carry out Input review. Understand and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component and systems. Carry out linear and non-linear Stress analysis, Thermal analysis and Dynamic analysis (Modal and forced response) Define and document scope and approach with appropriate loads and boundary conditions and define appropriate acceptance criteria. Carry out analytical calculations using first principles / engineering fundamentals, perform sanity checks on analysis results, create MS-excel based calculators if required. Interpret analysis results and provide appropriate design recommendations considering manufacturing, assembly and cost aspects. Resolve analysis related issues / convergence issues. Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and reports.
