Project Engineer PLC & IIoT Integration

As a Project Engineer specializing in PLC & IIoT Integration, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and commissioning industrial automation systems. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage your strong programming skills to integrate control systems with SCADA/cloud platforms and work with various industrial communication protocols. Your contributions will be essential in driving smart factory initiatives and ensuring seamless OT/IT convergence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC programs using platforms such as Mitsubishi (GX Works, iQ-R series), Siemens (TIA Portal, S7-1200/1500 series), Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000, ControlLogix, CompactLogix), and Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure, Modicon). - Integrate PLC systems with IIoT platforms, SCADA systems, and cloud platforms for data collection and cloud connectivity. - Configure and manage industrial protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP. - Support system architecture development for smart factory environments, predictive maintenance, and remote monitoring. - Ensure robust data exchange between field devices, MES, and enterprise-level systems for OT/IT convergence. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve reliable OT/IT integration. - Conduct on-site commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, and provide ongoing technical support for deployed systems. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for PLC code, network setups, IIoT workflow, network architecture, communication mappings, and device configurations. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field - Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC programming and IIoT integration - Proficiency in SCADA/HMI tools like WinCC, FactoryTalk View, or Vijeo Designer - Sound knowledge of industrial networks, protocols, and cybersecurity - Willingness to travel for project deployment and support By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration.
