Job Description

As an MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for validating design issues related to MEP and suggesting alternative solutions. You will assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals, as well as reviewing contractor drawings and installation method statements to ensure compliance with the MEP design plan. Additionally, you will log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings. Your role will involve assisting in the scoping review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work orders, and supporting the installation of MEP work. You will be required to direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP Subcontractor, while also coordinating and administrating MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings. Collaboration with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will facilitate problem-solving between MEP Subcontractors during construction and undertake off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability. Ensuring that MEP Subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records, as well as adhering to Project safety regulations, will be crucial parts of your role. Finally, you will also be involved in assisting in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.,
