Electrical Hardware Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design, test, and support electronic hardware from concept through production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliable, high-quality power electronics for automotive and off-highway applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly learn new tools, technologies, and industry standards related to electrical hardware design
  
• Design and validate PCB hardware, especially low-power motor and solenoid control systems
  
• Create schematics, select components, and develop robust PCB layouts
  
• Perform simulations, debugging, testing, and validation of electronic circuits
  
• Support the full product lifecycle, from early development to production and ongoing support
  
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners, test labs, suppliers, software engineers, and customers
  
• Ensure designs meet EMC, ESD, thermal, vibration, and safety requirements
  
• Document designs, test results, and engineering requirements
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  
• 4+ years of experience in embedded PCB power electronics design
  
• Strong experience with Altium Designer and circuit simulation tools
  
• Ability to read and create schematics, datasheets, test plans, and DFMEAs
  
• Knowledge of mobile equipment electrical standards (EMC, ESD, load dump, etc.)
  
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded C programming and MCU development
  
• Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, SPI, etc.)
  
• Experience with Git version control
  
• Familiarity with functional safety, security standards, and control systems
  
• Experience working with suppliers and launching products to production
