Job Description

Job Purpose:

Land and Legal documentation and coordinationwith Land Aggregators in Andhra Pradesh. Statutory approvals for Open Accessprojects.

Required Skills and tools

- Knowledge & Experience of Land Acquisition in Solar & Wind sector .

- Experienceof independently handling the entire land acquisition process for solar/windprojects. Should be expert findingfeasible sites and lands nearby.

- Identification,evaluation, and survey of proposed land for solar/wind projects. Scrutiny &comparison of various site options for suitability for solar/ wind sites, sitevisits and presenting the findings to the management in a concise manner for decisionmaking.

- Chartingland (Private / Govt./ Forest) acquisition process in the state of AndhraPradesh and updating it on a regular basis covering activities/ stakeholders/cost/ risks.

- Liaisonwith all A.P Govt. authorities at all levels required/ involved in the landacquisition process and getting required permits/ approvals in a time boundmanner.

- Leadlegal due diligence (LDD) and documentation with internal/ external lawyers andensure clear and marketable title of the potential land before acquisition

- Assesspotential RoW issues and ensure resolution through LF/As in a time-bound mannerwithout impacting the project timelines. This also involves coordination andresolution of the legal issues pertaining to land acquisition, ROW and extendnecessary support to other departments.

- Workingclosely with Aggregators and coordinate with them for faster execution of MoUs,Sale/ Lease Deeds/ POAs and related documents

- Keepthe Management informed by circulating MIS of Litigations, Notices, and legalcompliances. Discuss and suggest the proper course of action considering thelegal risk.

- Coordination and Monitoring of LandAggregators.

Stronganalytical and communication skills with knowledge and understanding of landdocuments

- Experience of Liaosning with governmentdepartments (Revenue, Panchayats, Taluka, etc.) for approvals and permissions

- Ability to manage the evaluation, verification,and preparation of land-related documents, including feasibility and titlereports

- Experience in resolving Right of Way (ROW)issues on-site

- Conversant with guidelines/process etc requiredfor Land Acquisition .

- Should be expert in achieving the State Grid Approvals . Manage legalcorrespondence and obtaining of development approvals for projects

- Should be able to handle Title search, Change ofland use, Forest land/Agricultural land and document submission to PD/ ProjectFinance.

- Handling Government Agencies, Arbitration andland related litigation as required

- Should have knowledge in state laws including but not limited to Land Acquisition, stateclearances, local body approvals, PWD approvals, State Transmission, Regulatoryand Generation agencies

- Understand Statutory requirements and LegalCompliances for project approval from local TCAPL, NREDCAP, APSPDCL etc.

- Prepare feasibility reports, title reports, andlegal opinions

- Coordinate with revenue officers for necessarygovernment permissions \uF0B7 Should have good networking skills, Highenergy levels.

- The candidates should be able to understand,read and write the Telugu language.

Qualifications/ Experience:

- Should be Graduate with 5-10 years of work experience in Solar or Wind sector .

- Law degree will be preference.

Preferred Industries: Solar IPP/EPC companies

Should be comfortable to travel toproject sites and stay at site as per requirements.

Baselocation can be anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.
