Project Configuration & Change Manager

As a Senior Project Configuration & Change Manager with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for leading Configuration and Change Management (CCM) activities within the Project/Program. You will uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct while applying standard procedures, instructions, and templates to ensure team members comply with them. In addition, you will represent the CCM Mtier in project and site meetings, conducting REX for CCM and driving improvements in CCM activities. Your role will involve ensuring that the activities and Roles & Responsibilities outlined in the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) are implemented and followed. You will also oversee the application of Configuration and Change Management tools, evaluate compliance with CCM requirements, and provide or approve compliance statements for all CCM-related aspects. Furthermore, you will be accountable for training functional representatives involved in the Project on CCM, reporting and escalating any CCM-related issues, and proposing solutions when necessary. You will also lead CCM audits, manage a team of Configuration and Change Managers, contribute to CCM training materials development, and conduct training sessions as required. Your responsibilities will extend to performing configuration management activities, including the identification, management, and accuracy of items under configuration control. You will prepare Configuration Strategy and release notes for Configuration Baselines, ensure the establishment of the Configuration Status Accounting Report (CSAR), and maintain end-to-end traceability of every change request. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you are expected to have mandatory knowledge of railway products and solutions, familiarity with CCM tools, excellent communication skills in both English and German, and strong leadership abilities. You should be systematic, proactive, and organized with a keen attention to detail, contributing to continuous improvement in processes and standards for CCM. Overall, as a Senior Project Configuration & Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating CCM activities, leading change boards, prioritizing change requests, and facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders.
