As a Project Associate-I under the project titled "Molecular characterization of phosphate starvation response in pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum)" sponsored by DST-SERB at Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, your role involves: - Holding a Masters in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences or a related field with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university. - Desirable qualifications include knowledge and work experience in Molecular Biology and experience in handling and analyzing high throughput genomics and transcriptomics data. The key responsibilities for this position include: - Monthly emoluments of Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA for NET/GATE/National level examinations qualified candidates, or Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA for others, as per SERB Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 25-08-2020. - Candidates applying should not exceed 35 years of age. - The initial appointment will be for 1 year or until the tenability of the project, with the possibility of extension based on performance review. - Submitting self-attested soft copies of mark-sheets, certificates, proof of research experience/publications, and a latest CV (all combined as a single pdf.) to Dr. Naveen Malik, Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur via email (nmalik@jpr.amity.edu) by the deadline of 15th February 2023 (5:00 PM).
